Presenter
Anne Marie Thomas, Director, Consumer & Industry Relations, Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC)
Anne Marie has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has worked for some of Canada’s largest insurance companies and has extensive underwriting & management experience in Personal and Commercial Lines. She was also a licensed personal and commercial insurance broker. She is experienced in the online insurance aggregator business where she engaged with consumers answering many of their insurance concerns.
In addition to her work on the personal auto and commercial insurance files, Anne Marie is the spokesperson for IBC has many years of experience speaking on television and radio as well as in print & social media.
During times of emergency Anne Marie and her team lead Insurance Bureau of Canada’s Community Assistance Mobile Pavilion (CAMP) where they set up a virtual process and/or attend the scene to answer resident’s questions regarding insurance.
