The Energy Leaders Consortium is PPG’s long-standing group of energy management professionals at larger-consuming organizations. The group convenes regularly to share best practices, learn tips and tricks on energy savings and hear from guest presenters on the new and proven energy management technologies and strategies.
PPG launched the SME Consortium this year, bringing together 5 manufacturers with under 500 employees to initiate a Strategic Energy Management program. Each of the members will install an energy monitoring system to track energy use in their facilities and identify opportunities to conserve. In 2021, each will begin implementing operational savings and planning deeper, long-term energy management projects.
