Initiated by Toronto Pearson and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), Partners in Project Green (PPG) supports a growing community of businesses working together to strengthen the Greater Toronto Area’s economy and environmental sustainability by fostering collaborations with businesses and municipalities, supporting the implementation of green technologies and participating in projects that produce tangible environmental benefits.
PPG is governed by a sub-committee of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority Board of Directors, known as the PPG Executive Management Committee (EMC). We are currently recruiting members for the 2023-2025 term.
As a member of the EMC, you will act as a catalyst for new ideas, innovation, excellence, and improvement of environmental and social impacts of organizations in TRCA’s jurisdiction. We strive to diversify the EMC through a wide range of thoughts, ethnicities, ages, genders, life experiences and more. Diversity and inclusion allow us to better understand, connect and respond to PPG Members and make better decisions as we work together to fight climate change.
While all eligible applications will be considered, we are particularly interested in candidates that bring expertise and experience in the following areas:
- Climate change adaptation and mitigation in the private sector
- Fundraising and sponsorship
